I don't plan to do a lot of changes to the cover from issue to issue. Probably just change the date on the "cancellation" and perhaps, perhaps, change the color of the "paper stock" each time, kind of like One Story and the old Fairytale Review.
This probably isn't the final version of issue 1's back cover, but it's close.

Announcing Falchion
Falchion is an electronic fanzine about sword & sorcery. We seek reviews, interviews, memoirs, histories, essays, or any other material—excepting only fiction, poetry, or illustrations—related to the field's past, present, and future.
We will publish substantive pieces, with reviews in particular we'd like to see at least 1,000 words. There is no theoretical upper word count on any piece, though particularly lengthy articles may be serialized over two or more issues.
For reviews, we'd like to see pieces about short fiction, novellas, novels, collections, anthologies, biographies, histories, television shows (episodes, seasons, or entire series), films, board games, video games, music, or any other sword & sorcery text.
We reserve the right to reject any submission.
The deadline for the first issue is 15th September, 2025. Publication will be in early October. Submissions are always open.
Send questions and submissions to cvrowe at gmail dot com.
